We partnered with the ACT Now Coalition—a powerful network of afterschool providers, families, youth organizations, and policy leaders—for an unforgettable creative activation at the NIU Naperville Conference Center.
​
This large-scale event brought together over 300 students for a hands-on experience where each guest created their own custom candle and sugar scrub. To ensure a smooth, high-impact experience, the activation was carefully coordinated in smaller rotating groups—allowing us to give each participant individual attention and a more personalized touch.

Working closely with the event lead, we pre-batched all materials to align with the theme of the day. Our team curated the blends with crowd-favorite options, provided custom label templates with instructions and guided each group through the process step-by-step.

The result? A sensory reset that was thoughtful, engaging, and unforgettable.

Landmark Missionary Baptist Church – Chicago, IL
50+ Guests | Candle-Making Workshop | Women’s History Month Celebration

This one was personal. As Elita’s church home on Chicago’s West Side, Landmark Missionary Baptist Church holds a meaningful place in the Einnim story—and this Women’s History Month event felt especially full-circle.
​
We welcomed over 50 women for an afternoon of reflection, creativity, and community through a hands-on candle-making workshop. Guests selected scents from a curated bar, poured custom candles, and created labels inspired by the women who’ve shaped them.
​
It was a special honor to lead this experience, as Einnim was named after Elita’s grandmother—Bigma Minnie—a woman whose legacy continues to light the way. Rooted in faith, guided by love, and powered by community, this event captured everything we stand for.

We held a monthly residency at Timeout Market Chicago in the heart of the West Loop, where guests joined us for intimate candle-making workshops right in the middle of one of the city’s most vibrant culinary hubs.

These events ran during the holiday season on Monday evenings—perfectly timed with happy hour to help guests ease into the work week with something creative and restorative. With 10 to 50 guests per session, each workshop offered a relaxed, hands-on atmosphere that was ideal for date nights, post-work team gatherings, networking events, and solo self-care nights.

Guests explored a rotating scent bar, hand-poured their own custom soy wax candles, and personalized labels to match their mood. Whether you came with coworkers, a partner, or just yourself—everyone left with something beautifully handmade and uniquely theirs.

Hosted at one of our favorite Chicago pop-up destinations, Indigo & Violet Studio in Lakeview, this intimate workshop brought together 15 guests for a cozy, sensory-filled evening of incense cone making.

Guests hand-rolled their own cones using natural base materials and chose from a curated selection of essential and premium-grade fragrance oils. We guided everyone through the process—from blending to shaping—while offering tips on how to use incense for intentional moments at home.
