To bring the mobile studio to your doorstep in Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, or Kenilworth, travel fees start at $25.00. This fee covers our transit from the Oak Brook hub, professional setup, and the logistics of transporting our premium artisan ingredients and specialized equipment directly to your home or venue.

2 / What about my pets?

As a fellow pet mom, I know that your furry friends are essentially the co-hosts of the night! We are a completely pet-friendly mobile studio. As long as your pets are comfortable with visitors, we are happy to share the space. We just ask that curious paws stay a safe distance from the workspace during the "hot" portions of the workshop (like wax and soap pouring) to ensure everyone stays safe. Since we use 100% all-natural ingredients, there are no synthetic fumes to worry about for their sensitive noses—it’s safe for the whole family, paws included.

3 / How much table space do I actually need?

A standard dining room table that seats 6–8 is usually perfect for a group of that size. For larger groups, a combination of a kitchen island and a few folding tables works beautifully.

Short on surface area? Don’t worry—I can bring extra tables along if requested! Regardless of where we set up, we provide professional-grade protective coverings, so your surfaces are completely safe from any stray wax or botanical debris.

4 / Is this experience safe for children?

Absolutely. Because we adhere to The Natural Standard, we don't use the harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances found in traditional craft kits. Our workshops are a favorite for multi-generational gatherings on the North Shore—from kids' birthdays to family reunions. We just ask for adult supervision for the "littles" when handling the warmer elements of candle and soap making.

5 / Can we host this outdoors on a patio?

We love a lakefront or backyard vibe! If you want to craft on your patio or in your yard, we just need a flat surface and access to a standard electrical outlet for our heating elements. We also recommend a shaded area to keep our plant-based waxes from getting too soft in the sun.

Please note: We will not execute during inclement weather. To ensure your event runs smoothly, we always recommend having an indoor backup space ready just in case the weather turns.

6 / What if I don't have enough chairs?

While we bring the entire mobile studio (supplies, tools, and instructor), we do rely on the host to provide the seating—one chair per participant. If you're short a few chairs, let us know; we can adapt certain "apothecary" experiences (like sugar scrubs or roller bottles) to a social, standing format.
