Do you travel to the suburbs for private in-home date night workshops? Yes. Our mobile studio setup regularly travels directly to couples throughout the entire Chicago metropolitan area and the surrounding western suburbs. Whether you are in the city or the suburbs, we bring the full experience to your door.
What do we need to provide for an in-home creative workshop? Not a single thing. We handle the logistical heavy lifting so you can focus on your date. We bring the entire mobile studio to you—including protective table covers, professional melting equipment, raw botanical ingredients, and clean-up supplies. All you need to provide is a standard table space and access to a power outlet.
Are the ingredients in the DIY stay-in kits the same quality as the live workshops? Exactly the same. Whether you build your custom scent via a stay-in kit or a live workshop, you are working with the exact same premium soy wax, cotton wicks, and clean, small-batch fragrance oils used in our professional studio production. We use only premium, clean-burning bases across all experiences.
How long does it take for the custom candles to set during the workshop? Hand-poured soy candles require about 60 to 90 minutes to cool completely and cure before they can be safely moved. This provides the perfect built-in window during your 1.5 to 2-hour experience to pour a drink, put on some music, and enjoy the rest of your evening together while your creations finish settling.
